PATIENTS FIRST USER TESTING PLAN

In order to test the usability of my Patients First app, I have asked 5 people to test it.

  • 1 - The 5 people were recruited among my class colleagues given this being an academic project with severe time constraints. Equally, due to the nature of the app being for a broad range of people, they all qualified to be user testers.

  • 2 - They were given a welcome and a brief explanation about the purpose of testing the app and told clearly that the test was to evaluate the product and not them.

  • 3 - The participants were sent a link to the prototype so they could test the app on their devices.

  • 4 - Participants were asked to think out loud during the testing and describe what they were doing in real time. At the end of each test, they have summarised what they’ve struggled more with and what they have enjoyed the most.

SCENARIOS & TASKS

After introducing the app to the participants, they were given 2 scenarios and 2 tasks to perform. The departing point was the Home screen assuming the login had been completed.
